Turkmenistan - Turkey Funeral Repatriation
Nationals of Turkmenistan come to Turkey for education, medical treatment and work, and there is a settled Turkmen community in Turkey. For the repatriation of Turkmen nationals who die in Turkey to Ashgabat and other cities, we handle the consular, embalming, coffin and airline procedures. Communication is available in Turkish and Russian.
Process for this country
- The death certificate and the multilingual death certificate extract (Formule C) are issued; the Turkmen consulate's transfer documents are obtained.
- Ritual washing, shrouding and embalming are carried out; a sealed coffin is prepared.
- The deceased is sent by air cargo to Ashgabat; the relative or funeral director who will receive them at the destination airport is informed.
