Domestic and Intercity Funeral Transfer
When a transfer to another city within Turkey is needed, we carry the deceased in our refrigerated vehicle and handle the municipal transfer permits and burial procedures. Taking a deceased arriving from abroad from the airport to the city of burial is also part of this service.
What happens
- The death certificate and the municipal transfer permit are obtained.
- The deceased is collected in a refrigerated vehicle and taken to the destination city.
- Cemetery and burial procedures in the destination city are coordinated with the municipality.

- A relative to contact in the destination city
How long it takes
If the documents are ready, we usually set off the same day; delivery within 1 day depending on distance.
The times given are typical ranges; they can change depending on how quickly the authorities, the airline and the consulate process each step. An autopsy, a judicial procedure or a public holiday will extend them.
Municipalities in Turkey offer free funeral services domestically. What we add is speed, document handling, foreign-language support and the coordination of everything connected with an international transfer from a single point of contact.
Costs are usually covered by the family, an insurer or the funeral fund the deceased belonged to. We check the cover together in the first call; a written quote is free of charge.
