Iraq - Turkey Funeral Repatriation
There is considerable travel from Iraq to Turkey for medical treatment and visits. For the repatriation of Iraqi nationals who die in Turkey to Baghdad, Erbil, Basra and other cities, we handle the hospital, consular and airline procedures from a single point of contact. Process for this country
- The death certificate is obtained from the hospital and the multilingual death certificate extract (Formule C) is issued; the Iraqi consulate's transfer documents are followed up.
- Ritual washing, shrouding and embalming are carried out; a sealed coffin is prepared.
- The air cargo booking is made; details are shared with the relative or funeral director who will receive the deceased at the destination airport.
